Twenty-eight long years have passed since the infamous battle that caused the demise of
Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Twenty-eight years since the countless deaths of
witches and wizards because of the war. As much as anyone would like to forget, it's
simply impossible to erase from history all the destruction that the Dark Lord caused
not only in the wizarding world, but in the Muggle world as well. Numerous people still
speak of the Boy Who Lived and his victory over the once feared wizard.
Through years, the former hostility and rivalries began to dissipate. The next generation
of witches and wizards even found themselves befriending those that they probably
would have been fighting against had Voldemort lived on. Muggleborns were no longer
fearing for their lives and starting, once again, to enter the wizarding community
without worries of being blasted to bits. It was as if the war with Lord Voldemort wasn't
caused by their existence. While there are many that are comforted by this time, there
were still a few who are unsettled by the peacefulness that reigned.
... For a good reason, too.
Like the rest of his family before him, Perseus Robards is a man well on his way. A future
auror and the son of Gawain Robards, great things were expected from him. He's known
of this all his life and hasn't any plan of disappointing anyone. Of course, his path isn't
one that most probably expected. Slowly, Perseus began gathering followers in similar
ways Tom Riddle did and for the same reason. Muggleborns didn't deserve to walk the
earth, all they were good for would-be fertilizer and even then, they would most likely
have poisoned the plants. He felt nothing but loathing towards those filthy mudbloods
and didn't plan on letting them live with wizards like they were equals. It wasn't hard for
Perseus to find willing wizards to join his cause. Children and relatives of those who
were thrown into Azkaban for joining the Dark Lord were more than happy to
cooperate. Soon enough, his army was just as powerful as Voldemort's had been ...
perhaps even more so.
Killings and mysterious disappearances have started to occur again, slowly but surely
picking up pace. The carefree world that was built up was starting to crumble, just like
two previous times before. With stories of the past war floating around and sides being
taken, the house and blood rivalries are starting to heat up again. They were never really
gone from the start, but this year, the confrontations seem much more hostile. More
fights are breaking out and even those reluctant to get involved are being pulled into
different sides. The Order of the Phoenix has been revived to get down to the bottom of
this sudden uprising. These wizards that call themselves the Mortis Infero, or the "death
bringers", needed to be brought down before the whole wizarding world is thrown into
chaos again. Tension rose between former rivals, friendships are questioned. No one
is to be trusted anymore, yet again.
