PERSONALITY || Saiyuri is not mysterious, nor is she a whole lot interesting. She doesn't have a secret past that haunts her, or parents that never loved her. Maybe that is why she's pretty much your average big city girl. Sai is your girl next door type; she's outgoing but not the wildest chick at the party, she's sweet but not easily fooled, and she's kind to just about anyone. Being kind doesn't make her a push-over; Sai's stubborn and likes to do things at her own pace.
Sai is not easy to anger; she's a level-headed person that thinks anger is not needed in her system. That's not to say she never gets pissed off; once her temper is set, she's been known to get rather physical about it. Of course, being the level-headed girl she is, it's hard to get her to that level unless she's very drunk. Oh yeah, she enjoys to party. Very much. She can hold her alcohol pretty well and just loves the vibe at parties. Although, no one can be fully prepared, and she's always getting drunk at parties.
Sai is calculated, but rarely is she mean or a manipulative bitch. She doesn't feel very comfortable trying to manipulate others, and is generally a kind-hearted soul. She's generous, loves to share, and is usually sweet natured. Saiyuri is the type of person that's very easy to hang out with and relax around, but no one can really call Saiyuri a good best friend. Unless you can deal with her fickle nature. She likes to make new friends, and will tend to 'friend-hop', meaning one day she'll hang out with one crowd and the other day a new crowd. She means no harm by it, but she gets bored doing the same thing over and over again. Some people can say she's a bit detached from her friends; she's there but isn't really paying attention and tends to zone out.
Lastly, Sai is easy to fall in love. All though she's not that flirty, if she does attract a guys attention and he's even a little bit her type, she gets a crush. Thing is, Sai gets so many crushes and doesn't know which one to pick that she ends up two-timing or getting jealous if one of the guys loses interest in her. Being fickle, she looses interest very easily, which will obviously piss off a few people.
She has a passion for deejay-ing, and to be frank, she's awesome at it.

Saiyuri craned her neck, pressing her lips together as she eyed herself in the mirror. Ugh. Why did she not have big breasts? Or a nice ass? Sometimes being an Asian chick sucked. Not only was the Asian stereotype sometimes correct, but Sai hated that she pretty much fit into that stereotype. She had small boobs and didn't really think she even had an ass, and she was skinny. Retreating from the full length mirror, she turned to her bed. An array of clothes were splayed across it, some more extravagant than others. "Why should it matter? I mean, I'm stuck behind a damn dj booth anyways," the girl thought, biting her lip. Shrugging her petite shoulders, she grabbed a print shirt and a pair of burnt orange, high waist shorts.
Maybe not the best attire for winter, but if she paired the shorts with tights it would do. Being a city girl, she was used to freezing her ass off to look appealing. Shimmying into her clothes, Saiyuri ran to the bathroom mirror. She applied only sparse makeup; the grossest and most disgusting feeling was having to endure while makeup trickled down her face. "Looking hot, girl," Sai laughed at herself as she spoke, causing the lip gloss to smear at the corner of her mouth. Tch. She wiped it off delicately, rushing to finish the rest of her makeup.
She'd make a pretty bad first expression if she walked in to work late. And damn. Who the hell could go to work late if work started at 11:00 pm? A flurry of action followed her as she moved around her apartment, grabbing her cellphone, her wallet, her iPod and stuffing them into her backpack. Sai was new to the neighborhood. That was pretty obvious. She had a bit of a lost look on her face whenever she stepped outside of the little block she was familiar with, and there weren't very many Asian girls about, anyways. If someone wanted to stalk her, it wouldn't be too hard.
Ridding thoughts of rapists and stalkers from her mind -as if that could really happen in the tiny little town- Saiyuri briskly walked ahead, leaving behind the building she called home. It was a new place to Sai. Only recently had she been living in New York, scrounging to get even a weeks worth of gigs in a month, it was tough being a dj there. Luckily, here, were her aunt had once called home, was a tiny little place that had greeted her rather excellent dj skills with much enthusiasm. Sai smiled smugly; in New York she was just run-of-the-mill. Here, her beats were hot.
Finally, Saiyuri made it to Full Moon Femme, the only club around. She waved to the bartender, who'd come earlier to get everything set up. Sai had managed to bring some of the essentials for deejay-ing with her; only what was necessary to make a nice beat. She couldn't afford the shipment fees for her bigger, heavier instruments."So, you think it's gonna be live tonight?" Sai called to the bartender as she set up, her slender fingers nimbly picking at this slide and that slide. "Maybe," he mumbled in return, barely audible from Sai's position. "What? Did you just say, 'yes, of course. The incredible Sai is deejay-ing tonight, so it'll definitely be live'? I totally agree, even if it makes me sound conceited." Sai grinned at him, one side of her headphones pressed against her ear. He chuckled, shaking his head, a grin still plastered on his face as he continued cleaning glasses.
Sai had that affect on people. Sometimes. An outgoing girl, she was never the life of the party in New York; didn't laugh the loudest, didn't drink the most alcohol, never flashed anyone. It would definitely change here; it being a small town and all. Err, smaller than New York, at the least. Soon, people would start crawling in. She'd start. Blow them away. And they'd want to come back. Drink in her beats, lose themselves, enjoy their time. Or so she hoped. Grinning, almost a bit like she was high, Sai slowly slid her fingers along the record, warping the sounds.
