Since her sister had left the house it had been awfully quiet, her parents where both buys with their own business. Her mother always asked her what she thought of the designs she had made, one had been especially for her. It was a bracelet with multiple charms on them.
A rose that was that stood for flower she loved the most. A shell that stood for the love she had for the beach, the calm it gave her when she was there. A snowboard that stood for the love she had for the sport, it had been her live for so long. The last one was a heart, which was for that she would always be locked into their hearts.
It had been a present for her eighteen birthday, something that told her to never doubt their love for her. Not that she did both of her parents had always treated her the same as Scarlett. They where one big happy family and since they had moved to Brythewood she had only referred to them as her parents. Not her biological mother that was a drug addicted she did not even know who she was. Only the name she knew, Tamara it was a Dutch girl barely seventeen years old. At first her parents stayed in touch with her but not for a very long time. Because the Netherlands had been her home country they decided to give her Dutch lessons as well.
Even in school where she was right now, the cafeteria it had been different without her sister. Now she was a lot on her own, afraid to lie but most of the time she did. Just to make sure people wouldn’t laugh behind her back. Tell her that she was stupid, ugly or just plain weird. Taking a bit of her apple she looked around the cafeteria the lunch break had started and it was getting more crowded. Amelia realized that soon people would be sitting here as well, knowing that this was the best spot with a view over the courtyard.
