Neptune, California, once a calm peaceful place, and then Veronica Mars came back to town. Having grown up in Neptune she tore through it fighting crime and bringing down some of the most prominent people in the 09er zip code. It’s been eighteen years since Veronica left for the FBI. After a year working for the government she married and had her first of two children. Before long her husband was killed in the line of duty. Unable to continue at the FBI, Veronica packed she and her girls up and moved back to Neptune.
But Veronica Mars isn’t the only one who has come back to town. Logan Echolls has taken over in town and become the new ‘Kane’ family, but the Kane Corporation won’t stand for this. Another old flame has returned; Duncan Kane. After the loss of the Kane Corporation, Duncan, returned to the US unafraid of being caught with his daughter Veronica. Now he and Logan run the two largest companies in all of Neptune.
Old families are back and a new generation has taken over, but life in Neptune has come to a screeching halt with the death of one of the town’s sweethearts, Holly Cooper, and the similarities between the Lily Kane murder and this new death are frighteningly similar. Now it’s the new generations turn to snoop around. Gossip flies around everywhere and no one’s secrets are safe. The Triton Times, the school newspaper, has come out with a new gossip section. The 09ers are scared and the Normal Heights kids as well as the PCHer’s are swarming the school. Who will you side with? The 09ers or the Normal Heights students? Be aware though dangerous secrets lie with each group.
